In this year, 1749, the heavy chemical industry has been borned.
John Roebuck and Samuel Garbett are the first to establish a large-scale Factory in Prenstonpans, Scottland, eight miles east of Edinburg, for the production of sulphuric acid .
The sulphuric acid have began to be produced and manufactured with the use and application of the Leaden Condensing Chambers.
