THE 100 000 SONS OF ST LOUIS RETURN THE POWER TO FERNANDO VII

Yesterday, the 28th January 1823 Louis XVIII sent a French army composed of nearly 100,000 soldiers to the war to fight against the liberals. The war is happening here, in Spain. They have sent it in order to retake the power and re-establish an absolute monarchy.

It has happened in Spain, the 28th of January. Louis XVIII has sent the French army, composed of 95 062 soldiers to fight against the liberals. The force comprised some five army corps (the bulk of the French regular army) and was led by the Duke of Angoulême, the son of the future King Charles X of France. They are in a war right now because Fernando VII wants to have again the power in order to re-establish an absolute monarchy. We just hope that after this war, if Fernando returns to the power, he can have ministers to help him put our country back together. We also hope that no one is going to hurt the liberals after this, but we do not think that is going to be possible because of the hate they are receiving from the church and the people that supports Fernando VII.
