The New Lanark Mill Factory Tries A New Method
Yesterday Davis Dale sold the New Lanark Mill to Robert Owen, Owen says that he is going to try another method in the factory.
This new method of running a factory is base on the workers´ happiness, to reach to this Owen has reduce the working hours and make the workers to have some basic kwoledge. Some of this ideas were given by Charles Fourier.
I´ve talk with some of the workers that have work in the new factory for some years and all say this method is much better than the old method.
Maybe because of this day of 1800 Owen gets a place in history of England.
