Graphic design has always been very useful throughou

t our history. But we have never ask ourselves what this wonderful type of design is about in deep.

Graphic design is a type of art and profession that consist by selecting and arranging visual elements. This new type of sign has cover all Europe and part of North-America.

One important use in design that has become fashionable is chromo-lithography. Chromo-lithography is a method that consist in printing the paintings in color. Louis Prang, an important chromolithograph, apart from having printed the first christmas card, think that chromolithographs can look just as good as, if not better than, real paintings, and he has publish well-known chromolithographs based on popular paintings, including one by Eastman Johnson named as The Barefoot Boy.

The reason Prang has decide to take on the challenge of producing chromolithographs, despite criticisms, is because he feel quality art should not be limited to the elite. We hope that this new chromolithograph will revolutionize with this new method of graphic design by using colours this 1886.
