Feudalism is abolished!
The Constituent Assembly has abolished feudal priviledges.
Yesteday at night, the Constituent Assembly abolished feudal privileges, both the seugneutral rights of the Second Estate and the tithes garanted by the First Estate.
This has occured because the Constituent Assembly wants two things: equality of taxation and redemption of all manorial right except for those involving personal servitude.
The old rules, taxes and privileges left over yesterday. Feudalism was a combination of legal and military customs inherited from Middle Age. It includes not only the obligations of the warrior nobility but also those of all three estates of the realm: the nobility, the cleargy, and the peasentry.
