Our society nowadays

England, in this year 1850, has brought us lots of advantages, but also other disadvantages. The invention of the steam engine or the construction of the railway, has brought us a better facility in terms of transport, but what happened with our way of life or in general, the society?

The impact of women in this period is vital. In many terms of agriculture, and industry. They play a vital role in running farms, in some trades and landed estates. However their useful economic role gave them a sort of equality with their husband. The middle and upper class mostly are in charge of an idle domestic cleaning. But the low class are force to do poorly paid jobs. This period has leaded us to a high population increase due to de workers that has come to the city to find new job. Also as the children have to work in the factories most of them do not have a proper education, not to mention the dead rate due to the gas explosions or falling to the paths where the carts are used for transporting.

Although there are some issues in terms of society this new period has make us take a step further in the evolution and science given to our great improvement in engineering and science.
